After 10 years of great times
"Saltbush Youth Festival inc." is no longer
Saltbush Youth Festival was set up as a non-profit Christian music festival tying in end of year celebrations for school leavers. Unfortunately over the past two years Saltbush attendance was not enough to cover the cost of running the event. After much soul searching we came to the decision that the most responsible option was to close the doors on Saltbush.
Many thanks must go to the churches in Katanning for all their work in running this event, particularly Katanning Baptist who founded Saltbush 10 years ago. A large thankyou also to Youth for Christ who have helped keep Saltbush afloat with the provision of office facilities and resources in the planning of Saltbush along with the donation of equipment for the event itself over the last two years.
Finally a huge thankyou to all the committee members over the last ten years, along with the huge team of volunteers without who Saltbush could never have existed.
The Future
Leavers WeekYouth for Christ are seeking volunteers to help at this years 'Leavers Week' activities in Dunsborough from 24th to 30th November.
YFC are also currently seeking someone to come on staff, along with volunteers, with the view to running several smaller concerts throughout the year for Christian bands.
